A MAN from St Asaph who has been found guilty of threatening behaviour has been ordered to pay in excess of £950.

Owain Jones, 32, of The Roe, was accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in the city towards James Taylor, with the intent of causing him to believe unlawful violence would be used against him, on October 25, 2021.

He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 11.

Mr Jones received a fine of £800, and was ordered to pay a £80 victim surcharge and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, to be paid in full by July 10.

This made a total payment of £965.
