“Many visitors will drive directly to the official car parks, but others may want to park in Denbigh and travel to the Maes on the shuttle service.

“It will be an ideal service for those who prefer to park in the town centre and would like an opportunity to explore the businesses and services offered in the town.”

Siân Eirian, director of the Urdd Eisteddfod and the arts, said: "The support of Denbighshire County Council and local volunteers for the Urdd Eisteddfod has been outstanding.

"We are extremely grateful to the council for organising a shuttle bus to facilitate the festival's visitor arrangements to the Maes this year, and making the most of the opportunity to enjoy all that Denbigh has to offer during their visit to the area. We look forward to continuing our co-operation over the coming weeks to make the Urdd centenary Eisteddfod one to remember.”
