IF you thought festival season is over in Denbigh, then think again!

While the successful Urdd Eisteddfod has come to a close, Denbigh Midsummer Festival is in full swing.

It's an annual festival to celebrate the best of Denbigh and with a variety of activities and events scheduled over the coming weeks, it will continue until June 19.

Throughout the festival, a forget me not hunt is being held.

People need to go for a walk along the High Street, Vale Street, Back Row and Bridge Street to find 38 forget me nots in shop windows!

Taster sessions are to be held at HWB Dinbych on the castles of North Wales, between 12.30 and 3pm on both days, ahead of a part-time seven-week Castles of North Wales course at the venue from September.

HWB Dinbych will also be the setting for a fabric printing taster session on June 9 (9.30am), with a guided tour in Welsh taking place from 10.30am on the same day.

Suitable for Welsh learners, this will take around two hours and participants are advised to wear suitable footwear.

The tour will go along historic streets, some steep sections and steps.

On June 10, there will be a gin tasting evening in the Diamond Buildings, Highgate (Denbigh Cons Club function room).
