WOULD you like to become a councillor in the Vale of Clwyd?

There's an opportunity for interested people as there are currently four vacancies for members on Ruthin Town Council.

Expressions of interest are being sought from members of the public who meet a number of qualifications and are interested in representing their community on the council.

Applicants must be a British, Commonwealth, Irish or European Union citizen and must be aged 18 or over and meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Registered as a local government elector for the area named above;
  • During the whole of the last 12 months occupied as owner or tenant land or other premises in the community;
  • Their principal or only place of work during the last 12 months has been in the community;
  • During the whole of the last 12 months resided in the community.

People wishing to be considered for co-option for the vacant seats can send a letter outlining their interest in the role together with pertinent information and their CV to the Ruthin Town Clerk, Ruthin Town Council, The Old Courthouse, St Peter’s Square, Ruthin, LL15 1AA.
