Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board is giving a final call to those eligible for their spring booster before the programme ends.

The Spring Booster programme offers a second booster vaccination to those eligible following advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).

The booster programme will come to an end on June 30 and the health board is urging everyone to check that their relatives who are over 75 have come forward for their Spring Booster.

Those eligible for the Spring Booster programme are: people turning 75 on or before June 30, 2022, care home residents and those aged 12 and over who are immunosuppressed.

Graham Rustom, COVID-19 Vaccination Programme Manager, said: “We are appealing to anyone aged over 75 who has not yet received their Spring Booster to either book an appointment or attend one of our drop-in clinics.

“Getting the Spring Booster will offer longer lasting protection against severe COVID-19 illness to those who are more vulnerable.”

Betsi say all vaccination invitations have been sent out to those eligible, but if you feel you have been missed, please call the Contact Centre on 03000 840004 or visit a drop-in clinic.
