Amanda Owen has shared a proud and heartfelt message about her oldest daughter Raven.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess, 47, who is known for the Channel 5 programme Our Yorkshire Farm shared a series of pictures on her Twitter page where Raven can be seen with a huge smile on her face alongside her younger siblings as they enjoyed the hot weather.

In the post Amanda wrote: "Everyone is running hot but working hard in the heat. #yorkshire #sheepdog #afternoonteas #shepherdess".

The comments replying were full of kind messages, complimenting the "lovely" pictures.

One comment in particular said: "what a gorgeous girl Raven is!!! and clever too".

This saw Amanda reply with a photo of Raven holding a note from the Volunteering Team at NHS, thanking her for her volunteer work.

The note says: “On National Volunteers Week, we would like to take the time to thank you for your dedication to both our staff and patients.

“Please find enclosed a special volunteering pin to recognise and thank you for your contribution to our Trust. Whatever your role we are so grateful to all of you for making a difference each and every visit. From all of the Volunteering Team, thank you.”

Alongside the picture she wrote: “Considerate and kind. That’ll do. #NHS #Nationalvolunteersweek #proud”.

People joined Amanda in the praise, with one Twitter user writing: "Well done Raven, setting such a good example to your siblings and all young people."

Another put: "There's no greater gift that anyone can give than their own time. Well done Raven".
