The court heard that both Craig Judge, of Marine Road, Abergele, and Lee Judge, of Alsager, jointly stole coffee and meat to the value of £186.91 from Farmfoods in Rhyl on April 16.

Lee Judge had also stolen:

  • Meat, beer and cakes worth £65.75 from the Co-op, Colwyn Avenue, Rhos-on-Sea on March 30.
  • Meat and beer worth £62 from the Co-op, Penrhyn Avenue, Rhos-on-Sea on April 3.

  • Bacon and sausages worth £60.35 from the Co-op, Colwyn Avenue, Rhos-on-Sea on April 6.

Both men had been previously convicted, and it was felt that their offences were so serious that only a custodial sentence could be justified.
