MOTORISTS are being warned of delays on a main road near Widnes this morning, Friday.
This follows an accident on the A5300 Knowsley Expressway, between Newstead Farm Interchange and the M62.
Police have confirmed that the incident is a crash involving two vehicles, with a call coming in at around 11am.
Slow traffic is being reported on the expressway heading northbound, between the A562 Speke Road and Tarbock Island, for junction six of the M62 and one of the M57.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for journeys using the route.
