A 21-year-old man is due to appear in court today (Monday) charged with attempted murder following a serious assault in Ruthin
Connor Hooley was last night, Sunday February 18, charged with attempted murder following the incident in Clwyd Street, Ruthin, during the early hours of Saturday morning.
He will be appearing before Llandudno magistrates.
A 21-year-old female arrested has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The 36-year-old victim remains in a critical condition in hospital and his family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Detective Inspector Jon Russell said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance and on-going support during this investigation and appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the incident, which happened at around 1.45am on Saturday 17th February to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference W019961.”
