JOIN the Crewe for a forthcoming friendly encounter.

On the back of their UEFA Europa League adventure, Bala Town will be returning to action next week in pre-season friendly mode.

Former Lakesider David Artell will take his Crewe Alexandra side to Maes Tegid for a match next Tuesday, July 17.

The friendly will kick-off at 7.30pm.

More English opposition will be helping Bala to prepare for the forthcoming JD Welsh Premier League campaign.

Bala will travel to Ewen Fields Stadium on Saturday, July 28 to tackle Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Hyde United.

Kick-off for this friendly will be at 3pm.

It's not just the first team that will get to sample European football this summer.

This weekend, a group of Bala Town supporters will be heading to Ukraine to take part in the annual EUROFANZ tournament.

This event sees 21 fans’ teams representing a number of European football clubs, including Newcastle United, Feyenoord and Dinamo Minsk.

There will be a reunion for the Lakesiders as they will join supporters of Swedish club AIK, who Bala faced in the Europa League back in 2016.

Drawn in Group D, Bala fans will face AIK and Heerenveen this Friday, July 13, hoping to progress into the Saturday and Sunday competitions.
