RHUDDLAN U-13s 0
DENBIGH TOWN U-13s 6
WHILE they were strangely off form during their visit to Rhuddlan, Denbigh Town U-13s still managed to come away with a 6-0 victory.
Rhuddlan set out to defend deep and frustrate Denbigh from the off, with the visitors struggling to break them down.
Early Denbigh chances fell to Callum Lewis and Harry Martin, who both narrowly missed.
It was Morgan Jones who opened the scoring, finishing well after good individual play from Lewis Williams.
Paris Gray made it 2-0 from the penalty spot and then hit Denbigh's third just before half-time with a powerful long-range shot.
A Charlie Smith shot dipped just over the bar for Denbigh, before a Martin free kick gave them a four-goal lead.
Good build-up play ended with Rhydian Jones making it 5-0 and the scoring was completed by Smith, who hammered home from an inch perfect cross.
The man of the match nod went to the hard-working Morgan Jones, with Lewis Williams and Rowan Shepherd also impressing.
