THERE'S a familiar sight in the upper reaches of a darts league's standings.

Summer champions the Wingmen sit at the top of the tree after week three of the Denbigh and District Winter Darts League campaign.

In their latest match, they thumped Golden Lion B 8-0, collecting all 16 legs on offer on the night in the process.

Two former individual Denbigh league winners were in fine form for the Wingmen, with Rich Martin grabbing a 16-dart leg and a 180.

Danny Tinney also hit a great 14-dart leg and a maximum.

Elsewhere, Wings A made it three wins from three with an impressive 6-2 victory at Railway A, while the reigning champions Masons A picked up a great 7-1 win in their derby match against Masons B.

In further oche action, Golden Lion A defeated Hand Inn A 6-2.

It's been a great start for the newly formed Cons Club, who racked up a third win in a row when the edged out the Llindir Inn 5-3.

Wings B recorded a third consecutive 5-3 scoreline when they defeated Railway B.

The Plough Inn grabbed a first victory of the season with a 5-3 win at Kinmel Arms B.

Robert Jones took out a 117 checkout to sit top of the current highest outshots list for both divisions.

This came when his White Lion B side drew with stablemates White Lion A 4-4.
