PRESTATYN Running Club’s Amie Bagnall added another title to her collection on Sunday when she became North Wales half-marathon champion.

She finished second lady overall in the event, which was incorporated in the Village Bakery Half in Wrexham, and had the added satisfaction of taking another minute off her personal best.

She was also the first finisher among the 20 club members taking part, being closely followed by her partner Matty Smith, who is building up to the London Marathon.

The 20 club members included several half-marathon debutants, who were delighted with their times, and others also set pbs.
