LLANUWCHLLYN 0
RHOS AELWYD 1
ALL of a sudden, Llanuwchllyn are looking over their shoulder.
A couple of weeks ago, Llan looked to be in a comfortable position in the Wrexham Area League Premier Division standings.
A five-match unbeaten run had seen them pull clear of the relegation zone, but the situation doesn't look as impressive for the Gwynedd villagers as February draws to a close.
With Lex XI pulling out of the league, Llan have lost a number of points and they now find themselves occupying a spot in the bottom-three.
Saturday was marked by a key relegation encounter at home to Rhos Aelwyd and it was the visitors who were celebrating at the final whistle after they achieved a 1-0 margin of victory.
Jamie Rogers' penalty sealed Rhos Aelwyd's fifth win of the season and they are now four points clear of third-from-bottom Llanuwchllyn.
