BATTLING Llangollen Town Reserves have given themselves a fighting chance of climbing off the foot of the Wrexham Area League Reserves / Colts Division.

The Tower Fields side saw off Mynydd Isa Spartans over the weekend to record their third win of the season.

The all-important goal was netted by George Gooding and the victory moves Llan to within just five points of Mynydd Isa and Coedpoeth United in the standings.
