THE Wingmen extended their lead at the top of the A-League in the Denbigh and District Darts League with a big win at Golden Lion B.
They grabbed nine points and a 7-1 victory, with 180s from Dil Martin and Dale Jones, plus a 16-darter from Danny Tinney helping the league leaders to a convincing win.
Masons A beat Masons B 7-1, with Robin Jones in fine form courtesy of a 180 and a 15-dart leg.
However, there was woe for Wings A as they lost ground on the top two after being held 4-4 at home by Railway A 4-4.
Derry Morris' fine season continued with a superb 150 checkout for the Railway boys, while Pryderi Rowlands and Pete Martin chucked 16-dart legs for the Wings team.
Wings B's campaign has capitulated in recent weeks and there was more agony this time out as they were ousted 6-2 by Railway B, with a 180 here for Gwyn Roberts.
White Lion A joined the Wings B at the top of the second tier with a 6-2 derby win over White Lion B.
Golden Lion C also jointly claimed top spot on the back of their 5-3 victory over the Hand Inn B.
