LLANRWST UNITED 5

LLANDYRNOG UNITED 0

A HEAVY away loss means Llandyrnog United continue to find themselves in the lower reached of the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance League Division One standings.

It was the battle of the Uniteds over the weekend as Llanrwst hosted Ryan Harden's charges.

The hosts ran out thumping 5-0 winners on the day and the bulk of the damage was done in the first half.

Chris Nicholson handed Llanrwst the lead after only four minutes and things got even better for the hosts when Leighton Griffiths made it 2-0 in the 21st minute.

Two goals in the closing 10 minutes of the opening period sealed the deal for Llanrwst.

Aaron Jones made it 3-0 in the 36th minute and this was followed by Callum Parry's strike two minutes before the interval.

One further goal would arrive in the second half and it was Parry at the double in the 80th minute.
