A BEAUTIFUL morning at Nant Conwy welcomed young Ruthin rugby players on Mother's Day.
Ruthin U-7s had two great games against Nant and some of the Ruthin players even volunteered to play for the hosts.
Amazing passing, support and defence, plus great running was on display, with Ruthin winning 16-13 and 9-6.
Ruthin and Nant Conwy U-8s were up for playing a fast-flowing game, with the blue-and-whites impressing with plenty of passes.
The visitors just outscored their opponents in the first game, but tired legs allowed Nant to win the second.
This was a fair outcome considering the effort put in by both sides.
Ruthin U-10s also travelled to Nant Conwy.
In a tough game, both teams displayed some excellent rugby skills and it was Ruthin who won 28-21.
Ruthin U-12s competed in a festival in Oswestry.
Games against Whitchurch, Oswestry and COBRA were hard fought and tough, especially on the hard ground.
