BUCKLEY 43-1
CORWEN 42
CORWEN did well to make sure they managed to pick up a point from their spot of weekend action.
The War Memorial Park side had only eight players available for their opening North Wales Cricket League Division Twwo contest at Buckley.
Corwen elected to bat first after they won the toss and they were bowled out for 42 in 21 overs.
William Pooler top scored with 10 for the visitors, while Louis Parry (5-15) did the bulk of the damage with the ball.
Thanks to an unbeaten knock of 21 from Joel Sampson, Buckley responded with a winning 43-1 in eight overs.
Daniel Jones returned 1-20 to make sure Corwen claimed a point on the day.
