LLANNEFYDD 2
PWLLHELI 0
A TOP-THREE finish is Llannefydd's reward for a fine campaign.
Llan needed to win their final match of the season at home to Pwllheli to make sure they finished up in third spot in the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance League Division Two standings.
With games in hand, Pwllheli could have overtaken Llannefydd in their battle to achieve the lofty finish, but the villagers claimed a 2-0 verdict to seal the deal and claim their 19th success of the season.
The damage was done in the first half, with Llan building up their two-goal advantage.
Sam Jones broke the deadlock in the 17th minute and it was Jones at the double with the key second goal seven minutes shy of the interval.
Llannefydd's man of the match was Nico Clwyd.
