LLANFAIR 4
YSCEIFIOG 1
IT seems like Llanfair used Thursday night to conduct their very own goal of the season competition!
There were quality strikes from everywhere for the hosts, who secured a 4-1 success to move back within two points of pole position in the league.
Chris Hardy must take centre stage.
While he has been utilised as a goalkeeper this season, Hardy has also made his mark at the other end of the pitch and he struck twice on the night to take his tally for the season up to three goals.
One of these efforts was a free kick from his own half, which went into the top corner of the net!
Rich Lloyd also netted from outside the area, as did Llyr Morris, who scored for the 15th time this season.
Initially, it was Ysceifiog who were on top, though, and Sam Parry handed them an early lead.
For the hosts, 15-year-old trip Harry Williams, Harri Tudor and Tom Roberts all played well.
