On Bank Holiday Monday, Ruthin 2nds claimed victory in their North Wales Cricket League Division Four contest at home to Llangollen.
Batting first, Ruthin hit 202-7 from their 40 overs.
Llangollen, who had a revised target of 154, were bowled out for 94 in reply.
Denbigh's top-of-the-table Premier Division trip to Bangor was abandoned after 46 overs.
The Gwynedd hosts had reached 195-4 (Sam Lewis 3-30, Jack Griffiths 1-20).
In Division Three, the rain denied St Asaph 2nds a decent shot of victory.
Playing at Hawarden Park 2nds, St Asaph had reached 190-6 when the match was abandoned.
David Lloyd (78) and Ben Murphy (55) were the main scorers for the Saints.
