A MAGNIFICENT seven has kept Llanrhaeadr in the mix to claim this season's Summer League crown.

After a tricky run of results, it all came good for the visitors in Thursday evening's clash of the Llans at Cae Nant.

On-the-up Llandyrnog were looking to stretch their unbeaten run to five matches, but Rhys Rowlands' hat-trick ended these hopes.

Included in Rowlands' tally was a fine opener, which he cracked into the net from all of 30 yards.

Wil Roberts (2), Ian Evans and Dafydd Davies joined him on the scoresheet as Llanrhaeadr secured win number seven for the campaign.

A lob from David Clayton and a goal from Craig Jones supplied the Llandyrnog replies.

In a good team performance from Llanrhaeadr, Ian Evans and Wil Roberts were hugely impressive figures.
