AN experienced duo will once more be helping Bala Town during the forthcoming JD Welsh Premier League season.

Lakesiders' boss Colin Caton has again appointed Stephen Fisher as his assistant manager and Ryan Valentine as Bala's first team coach.

On these re-appointments, Caton said: "Ste Fisher's loyalty to the club is second-to-none and having worked with Fish for over 14 years says how committed to the club he is.

"The success of the team is a lot down to him plus, Ste has... just passed his UEFA A licence.

"It's great to get Val on board for another year.

"Val brings so much knowledge to the coaching team with his Football League experience and he, like Steve, has been at the club for such a long time."

Caton was also eager to discuss the plans for pre-season, which is less than a month away.

"Training starts at the end of the month," he said.

"The friendlies we have set up are to a quality that will give us the tests and preparation we need to have to ensure a good start in the JD Welsh Premier League.

"We have been in talks with a lot of last season's squad and in talks with new players to bolster the squad.

"There are signings to be released soon."
