A FIVE-STAR display has kept Llangynhafal clear at the top of the Summer League standings.

The tangerines eased to a 5-0 Monday night triumph at battling Llandyrnog to maintain their three-point advantage over chasing Henllan.

Tom Seddon, Tom Sharples, Garmon Hafal, Dyfan Humphreys and an own goal made sure Llangynhafal claimed their 12th win of the season.

Henllan remain in the title picture following their 5-2 success at in-form Ysceifiog.

Two goals from Sam Jones, plus one apiece from Nico Clwyd, Brad Jones and Tom Jones, did the trick for Chris Brown's side.

Quality strikes by Paul Gill and Tom Carney supplied Ysceifiog with first half goals.

Nantglyn maintained their slender championship hopes with a 4-3 comeback win at Rhewl.

Jason Williams and Ian Williams had the hosts 2-0 up inside 10 minutes, but replies from Ifan Jones, Geraint Jones and Gruff Roberts had Nantglyn in front by the break.

Dyfan Lloyd levelled matters in the second period, before Arwyn Lloyd's header sealed the deal for the visitors.

Arwyn Lloyd heads in Nantglyn's winner at Rhewl.

Llanfair are up to fourth on the back of their 7-2 success versus Caerwys.

Four goals from Llyr Morris set Llanfair up for their ninth win of 2019, with Kyle Davies, Elgan Lightfoot and Jason Alexander also on the scoresheet.

Rich-Mike Jones and Connor Winton replied for Caerwys.

Elsewhere, Llanrhaeadr and Cefn played out a 1-1 draw.

Rhys Rowlands netted for Llanrhaeadr, with Steffan Williams on target for Cefn.
