A FORMER Football League player has agreed to bolster the Bala Town squad ahead of the new Welsh Premier League season.
The Lakesiders have moved to capture the signature of midfielder Lee Molyneux.
A left-footer, Molyneux hails from Merseyside and has numerous caps for England at U-16, U-17 and U-18 level to his name.
Starting his career at Everton, Molyneux has plenty of Football League experience after spells at Southampton, Plymouth Argyle, Accrington Stanley, Crewe, Rochdale and Tranmere Rovers.
More recently, Molyneux has made appearances for Morecambe, Guiseley and Barrow.
His stand-out season was during the 2008 / 09 campaign, when he notched nine goals in 31 appearances.
This helped Accrington Stanley to avoid relegation from League Two.
Meanwhile, Molyneux's spell in non-league saw him help Chorley reach the end-of-season National League North play-offs.
He will wear the number seven shirt for the Lakesiders.
