RAILWAY A's seamless charge on the Denbigh and District Darts League's A-league title was knocked off track in the latest round of local darting action.

The previously unbeaten Railwaymen were defeated on their own patch by an accomplished performance from Huw Watson's Wings A.

A great 5-3 result leaves Wings A as the only unbeaten side left in the A Division.

However, it's reigning champions the Wingmen who have taken over top spot after a 6-2 victory over Masons A, who suffered a third loss in five games this campaign.

Wingman Dil Martin was in top form and he helped himself to two 180s.

Wings B are still looking for that elusive first top tier victory after they were downed 6-2 by Kinmel Arms A.

Elsewhere, Masons B consolidated fourth spot by virtue of their 6-2 win over Golden Lion A.

Lionman Mark Langan was roaring as he collected a maximum in his tie.

White Lion A are at the top of the B-league, but they failed to win for the first time this season as they were held 4-4 by Golden Lion B.

Second-placed Railway B were able to closed the gap on the leaders with a 6-2 victory at The Hand Inn.

Charlie Walker-Williams struck the highest outshot of the week with a fine 118, but her Cons A side slumped to a 5-3 reverse to Golden Lion C.

Elsewhere, stablemates Cons B walloped Kinmel Arms B 7-1, while White Lion B and the Llindir Inn shared the spoils in a 4-4 draw to conclude the week's action.
