PRESTATYN Running Club's Bagnall clan has added another trophy to its cabinet.

Jenna, the "baby" of the family, became the Welsh under-20 mountain running champion with a convincing win at Betws-y-Coed.

She finished 10 minutes clear of the Irish girl who was second.

Her victory means that she will be in the Welsh team for the home international to be held over the same course in September.

Once again, there was a huge turnout from the club for the third race in the Deestriders' Off-Road Grand Prix Series at Shotton.

With only one race left, several members are in line for individual age-group awards.

Among the outstanding performances were those of club stalwart George Nicholls, who is back on form, and recent recruit Katherine Holley, who was the second over 35 on her debut.

Rob Alexander was ninth in 29.45, with Helen Ashworth 49th in 36.21.

Jo Hoppes was three places and 26 seconds behind her and Tracy Colligan finished 90th in 47.17.
