LLANSANNAN recovered from their first defeat of the season in the best possible fashion.
Seven days after losing heavily at Llanfairfechan, Llansannan eased to a 3-0 win in their Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Premier Division clash at home to Meliden.
All of the goals came in the second half and they were netted by Euros Lloyd, Kieran Kendrick and Jac Glover.
Llanelwy Athletic made their point thanks to a 1-1 outcome at home to undefeated Abergele.
Steve Kirk was on the scoresheet for the hosts.
Elsewhere, a late goal from Robyn Hughes handed Bro Cernyw a 1-0 victory at Y Glannau.
Leaders Rhuddlan Town were in fine form as they gathered a 5-0 margin of victory during their trip to Cerrigydrudion.
Denbigh Town Development were involved in a 10-goal Division One thriller at Llanfairfechan Town Reserves, who won 6-4.
Joel Rowlands netted a hat-trick for Denbigh, with Alfie Harrison grabbing the other goal.
