LLANUWCHLLYN were able to make their point in Wrexham Area League action over the weekend.

In their latest Premier Division encounter, Llan welcomed Brickfield Rangers, with the match finishing up in a 2-2 draw.

Tomos Jones netted both of the goals for Llanuwchllyn, with Sebastian Kidd and Max Northall both on the scoresheet for Brickfield.

Turning to Division One and Llangollen Town lost out 3-1 during their trip to Cefn Mawr Rangers.

Two goals from Ryan Harden proved pivotal in the Rangers' victory, while Sam Giles was on the scoresheet for Llangollen.

Ruthin Town Reserves made progress in the Reserves' Division Cup courtesy of a superb 5-2 triumph at Llay Welfare Reserves.

Luke Humphreys netted twice for Ruthin, with the remaining goals coming from Luke Appleby, Osian Audley and David Wilkins.

However, it wasn't such a good weekend for Corwen Reserves in Reserves' Division action as they were beaten 4-0 at Mold Alex Reserves.

Shining the spotlight on the Reserves / Colts Division Cup and it was a successful weekend for Llangollen Town Reserves.

Jonathan Davies (2), Joseph Morris and Josh Taylor fired Llangollen to a thrilling 4-3 win at home to Overton Reserves.

Elsewhere in the cup, Ruthin Town Development were edged out 3-2 at Brymbo Reserves.

Andy Hession and Gwern Hughes grabbed the Ruthin goals.

In league action, Bala Town Reserves suffered a 4-1 reverse at the hands of hosts Airbus UK Development.
