THE brilliant Blues have regained top spot in Division One (North) of the WRU League.

Ruthin swept back into top spot with a thumping 74-7 success over Llangefni.

The high-flyers were on top from the off and they built-up a 51-0 lead by the time the half-time whistle was sounded.

Llangefni’s half-time team talk saw them coming out firing after the interval and they gained a consolation try 10 minutes from the end.

However, it was Ruthin's day and Josh Wilson was in brilliant form with five tries.

Other tries came from Iestyn Davies (2), Arwyn Davies (2), Nathan Jones and Robat Lewis, while Ruthin's man of the match was Matt Roberts (Bodynys).
