A GOAL in each half failed in its quest to secure a first league win of the season for Llandyrnog United.
In their latest Lock Stock Welsh Alliance League Division One contest, Llandyrnog played host to Bodedern Athletic.
A quartet of first half goals would eventually help to guide the Anglesey side to a 4-2 success.
Aidan Clark (2), Casey Boylan and Eric Leach were on target for the visiting side.
Dan Lewis pulled a goal back for Llandyrnog on 3 minutes, while Craig Jones doubled the home side's tally with six minutes left to play.
On Friday night, Denbigh Town Reserves eased to a 5-1 home win over Kinmel Bay.
Striker Luke Farley netted two goals for the hosts, with Stu Vernon, Andy Thomas and Josh Griffiths also on the scoresheet.
