THERE were a mixed bag of results for Ruthin Town Youth FC sides over the weekend.
Byron Jones struck twice as Ruthin Town U-16s defeated Borras Park Albion 5-3.
Dan Dolben, Jack Hughes and an own goal completed the tally.
Harry Martin and Charlie Gardner were on the scoresheet as Ruthin Town U-14s saw off Borras Park 2-1, while Lewis Lloyd Hughes netted both goals as Ruthin Blues U-15s defeated Johnstown 2-0.
Ruthin Town U-13s were edged out 4-3 in a thrilling clash at home to Gresford, with Gwern Doherty, Evan Davies and Gruffudd Hughes Owen finding the target.
Elsewhere, George Mitchell scored the goal for Ruthin U-15s in a 13-1 loss versus Chirk.
