THE Denbigh and District Winter Darts League season has started off with some quality arrows, as both divisions lit up week two.

This week saw the start of the A-league, with reigning champions Masons A grabbing a tight 5-3 victory over Wings A.

Their big rivals are summer champions the Wingmen, who commenced their campaign with a stunning 8-0 capitulation of Masons B, with the loss of just one solitary leg all evening.

Lethal finishing saw Dale Jones (131) and Jamie Dowell (149) take out high quality outshots, with Dowell also adding a maximum.

Golden Lion A held Railway A to a high-quality 4-4 draw.

This contest saw a 105 finish from Ryan Finch and a 113 out by Daf Roberts, while Railwayman Peter Martin notched a maximum.

The B-League is two weeks into its season and Golden Lion C players are showing their quality.

In their latest match, they were held to a 4-4 result by the Cons Club, with the Golden's Denim Crofts (100) and Rhys Edwards (112) taking out quality finishes.

White Lion A lead the early standings after a 5-3 winning result at the Kinmel Arms.
