THE Wingmen are the dominant force so far in the Denbigh and District Winter Darts League.
They are sitting pretty at the top during the festive shutdown.
Runners-up in the last three winter seasons, the Wingmen made it three straight victories as they clawed their way back from 2-1 down at Golden Lion A to grab a 6-2 win.
Victories by Kelvin Williams, Dale Jones, Dil Martin, Rich Martin, Paul Davies and Nick Hailes confirmed the fine victory.
Goldie chucked Alistair Hughes hit a great 139 checkout in his match.
Railway A turned over Wings A on their own patch with a fine 5-3 result, with Pete Martin helping himself to a 15-dart leg and 101 checkout, whilst Masons B bagged a 6-2 result at Wings B, with Bryan Lewis recording a steady 19-dart leg.
In B-league action, the Llindir Inn drew with the newly-formed Wings C.
In his match-up, Llindir skipper Jack Griffiths hitting a 180.
Elsewhere, Golden Lion C were winners in their derby match-up as they defeated Golden Lion B 5-3.
Ernie Martin produced a neat 120 finish as his White Lion A side drew with the Cons Club 4-4, while the Hand Inn picked up another victory with a 6-2 result at White Lion B.
