A GOAL in each half did the trick to make it a fine weekend for Llanuwchllyn.
Joe Evans and Sam Evans were on the scoresheet as Llanuwchllyn secured a 2-1 Wrexham Area League Premier Division win at Rhydymwyn.
Turning to Division One and Llangollen Town lost out 3-1 at home to Mynydd Isa.
In Reserves' Division action, Corwen Reserves were edged out 2-1 at Hawarden Rangers Reserves.
Will Hughes had handed Corwen the lead.
