A LAST minute goal denied Y Glannau a notable Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League point in their latest spot of action.

Saturday's Premier Division programme contained an encounter between Y Glannau and unbeaten title chasers Abergele.

It looked like both sides would pick up a point apiece when the scoreline stood at 2-2 with time almost up.

However, Abergele were able to celebrate their seventh win of the season on the back of Jac Lloyd's 90th minute strike.

Goals from Jack Hoult and Liam Roberts had the visitors clear, only for Owain Jones and Connor Heath to respond for the St Asaph-based side.

Premier Division leaders Rhuddlan Town boosted their title aspirations with a comfortable success at Llanelwy Athletic.

Jay Whitehouse stole the show with a hat-trick during the 6-1 triumph.

Steve Kirk netted Athletic's solitary effort.

Turning to Division One and Shaun Edwards was on target for Henllan in their 6-1 home reverse versus Llandudno Amateurs Reserves.

Elsewhere, Sean Sheridan fired in four goals as Llysfaen took over at the top of the table with a 6-0 success versus Denbigh Town Development.
