A MAGNIFICENT seven means that Llansannan are still on the march in a knockout competition.
Frontman Geraint Jones was the star of the show as Llan claimed a thumping 7-0 success at St Asaph-based Y Glannau in the second round of this season's Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League's Premier Cars Bangor Premier Cup.
Jones slotted in no fewer than four goals on the day and his hat-trick was completed as early as the 12th minute.
This strike made it 4-0 at that early stage after Ifan Jones found the back of the net in the ninth minute.
Ifan Jones finished the day with a brace of goals and Llansannan benefited from Dinbych seeing their rugby clash versus Nant Conwy being called off.
That allowed Dinbych full back Gruff Roberts to don his football boots and he grabbed Llansannan's other goal during the afternoon.
