THE Wingmen made it a super five victories on the bounce to continue their perfect start to the A-League action in the Denbigh and District Darts League campaign.
They locked horns with second-placed Railway A in their latest spot of action and they prevailed 5-3, with Kelvin Williams supplying the killer fifth point in the penultimate game of the evening.
Reigning champions Masons A are starting to find their feet after a patchy start to the season and they managed to defeat Golden Lion A 7-1 in their latest match.
There was quality shown by both sides in this encounter, with a 16-darter from Mark Langan and a 117 outshot from Jamie Edwards for the Lionmen.
However, the Masons replies courtesy of a 17-dart leg from Glyn Lloyd, 16 darts from Dave Davies and a brilliant 154 outshot by Shane Evans.
Wings A defeated Wings B 7-1 to conclude the A-League action.
White Lion A stumbled in their latest outing as the B-League table toppers were held 4-4 by the Llindir Inn.
The Conservative Club got the better of Golden Lion B with a 5-3 scoreline and Golden Lion C roared to a 6-2 success over Wings C in their match-up.
The Hand Inn continued their upward momentum with a 5-3 away victory at the Kinmel Arms, were Matthew Cooke grabbed a 180.
This was the only maximum score over both divisions as week five came to a close.
