THE big guns safely made it through to the semi-finals as the A-league indulged in some Denbigh and District Darts League nine-a-side cup action.
Reigning cup holders Masons A strolled past Golden Lion A 7-2, while Wings A thumped Wings B 8-1.
Danny Tinney grabbed a 180 as league leaders the Wingmen advanced with a 7-2 victory over Masons B, whilst the luck of the draw saw Railway A into the last-four via a bye.
It's been a busy week in the second tier, with most B-league sides playing two games within a week.
Railway B have put aside their poor form from the early season and they chalked up two great victories over the Hand Inn (5-3) and Llindir Inn (6-2).
The Hand Inn recovered to grab a 5-3 win away at the Conservative Club, with Hand Inn landlord Steve Wynne chucking in a maximum.
Golden Lion B defeated White Lion B 6-2 and they played out a 4-4 scoreline with the Llindir Inn, as the rival captains shared decent personal accolades.
Goldie skipper Dave Harrison hit a 100 outshot and Llindir ace Jack Griffiths grabbed his second 180 of the season.
