A HOME semi-final is Llansannan's reward following another successful weekend.

Before Storm Ciara headed our way, Llansannan went to Llanfairfechan Town on Saturday in the quarter-finals of the Normac Precision Engineering – JT (Charlie) Jones President's Cup.

Ifan Jones, Geraint Jones and an own goal made sure of the visitors' progress into the last-four.

Sion Devereux and Ellis Jones found the target for Llanfairfechan.

In the semi-finals, Llansannan will host Llysfaen, who won 2-0 at Llandudno Amateurs Reserves.

There was no quarter-final joy for Llanelwy Athletic, who found themselves being edged out 3-2 at NFA.

Joe Lloyd and an own goal accounted for the Llanelwy Athletic efforts, while Jordan Taylor was the star performer for the home side with a hat-trick.

Turning to the league and a solitary goal was enough to make sure it was a victorious weekend from the perspective of Bro Cernyw.

In a close Premier Division contest, the villagers edged to a 1-0 home triumph versus Y Glannau.

Colin Roberts' 34th minute penalty proved to be the difference between the two sides.
