IT has been a decent season so far for both Railway sides as they battle for league honours in both Denbigh and District Darts League divisions.
Railway B lead the B-League after an emphatic 7-1 in Llandyrnog versus the Kinmel Arms.
Darren Edwards returning to the darting scene after a few years out has added to an already strong squad and the former Denbigh Town and Caerwys goalkeeper showed his class with a great 144 checkout to help condemn the Kinmel Arms to a heavy defeat.
The Hand Inn were hot on the heels of Railway B, but they were upset on their home patch as White Lion B grabbed a surprise 5-3 victory.
Handman Steve Evans grabbed a maximum in his game.
Struggling Wings C were downed again as they fell to a 5-3 loss to the Llindir Inn, with Findlay Jenkins hitting a great 136 checkout.
In A-League action, Railway A have put themselves in contention for the title after a 5-3 victory over Golden Lion A.
Peter Martin and Steve M Jones recorded 180s for the Railwaymen.
Their charge was slightly halted, however, when a 16-darter by Deian Roberts gave Wings A a share of the spoils as the Railway played two games within a week.
Leaders the Wingmen edged to a 5-3 victory over Golden Lion A 5-3.
They were indebted to squad player Paul Griffiths, who grabbed a last game win to secure an unconvincing victory.
Dale Jones was a maximum hitter for the Wings unit whilst Lionman Mark Langan impressively hit two.
Elsewhere, Masons B whitewashed Wings B 8-0 with Jamie Clayton hitting a steady 19-dart leg.
