THE young prospects at Ruthin Town Football Club have been rewarded for their fine efforts during the 2019/20 season.

During separate and socially-distanced presentation evenings held recently, players were given trophies as rewards for their contributions to the club.

U12’s Managers Alun Lloyd Jones and Ian Hession presented awards to; Dafydd Jones (Players Player), Finlay Mawbe (Most Improved), Harri Lewis-Jones (Clubman) and Will Hughes (Manager’s Player).

Winners of the U12 Blues awards, presented by managers Wynne Davies and Euros Gwyn, were Jesse Norris (Clubman), George Lawton (Players Player), Jayden Parry (Managers Player) and Dan Woolam (Most Improved).

Julyan Hughes-Owen and Darren Williams presented awards to the following U13’s; Twm Carney (Most Improved), Gruffydd Price (Manager’s Player), Rhys Jones (Clubman) and Gruffydd Hughes-Owen (Player’s Player)

For the U14’s, managers Dylan and Tom Williams presented awards to; Seth Evans (Clubman), Tomos Roberts (Most Improved), Charlie Gardner (Manager’s Player) and Harry Martin (Player’s Player). This squad also collected their league runners-up medal at their event.

The U15’s awards, presented by Paul Williams and Richard Lewis, were; Sami Williams (Most improved), Ethan Crooks (Clubman), Meilir Williams (Player’s Player) and Osian Wort (Manager’s Player) The U15’s Blues team awards, presented by Christian Bradford and Ian McKay, were; Harry Thackeray (Clubman), Finlay Roberts (Most Improved), Alfie McKay (Player’s Player) and Sami Snowdon-Jones (Manager’s Player)

The U16’s were handed their awards by Steve Kell and Nick Lennon; Rhys Tudor (Clubman), Harri Roberts (Players Player and winner of the Arnold Edwards cup, awarded for distinguished service to the squad for the full five seasons as a Youth FC player) and Danw Diss (Manager’s player).

They also collected their individual league runners up medals on the evening.
