With the UEFA Euro championships being moved to next summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, this has allowed Williams more time to develop his game and make a further case to be included in the squad who will take on Turkey, Switzerland and Italy in a tricky group.

Williams' parents still live in Cefn Mawr near Wrexham and is younger brother Keelan, 16, has recently moved to Burnley's academy side.

Meanwhile, another local Welsh footballing star could be on his way out of Liverpool - if rumours on the transfer mill are to be believed.
