DENBIGH TOWN Football Club has announced the departure of three of last season's squad, but has promised that four new faces will be unveiled in due course.

The first team squad is shaping up at Central Park ahead of the new season, during which the club will be playing in the new-look Ardal North West League (tier three).

This week, Town announced the departures of goalkeeper Antoni Sarnowski, as well as defenders Dan Lloyd and Chris Bennett.

Experienced left back Lloyd (above), who has played for the likes of Llandyrnog, Bala Town, Ruthin Town and Oswestry Town in the past, will be joining newly-formed CPD Rhyl 1879 in the North Wales Coast East Premier (tier four).

Bennett (below), who can play as a right back, a midfielder or as a winger, joined Denbigh from Prestatyn in October 2019. He will also be playing for CPD Y Rhyl 1879 in 2020/21.

Meanwhile, the club is likely to see Sarnowski (pictured at the top) once again next season - but this time playing against them - as he has made the switch to fellow Ardal North West side Brymbo FC.

The club is set to unveil some of its new signings for the 2020/21 season later on this week.

Perhaps the biggest and best bit of news for Denbigh Town and manager Dewi Llion so far came when Jacob Walker, who was Welsh Alliance One top scorer with 29 goals last season, re-committed for the season ahead.

Also confirmed as staying with the club for 2020/21 are; club captain Mark Roberts, 2019/20 Players Player of the Year Paul Fleming, 2019/20 Young Player of the Year Sion Jones, Billy Holmes, Dan Clarke, Jack James, Harvey Tattum, John Terry, Kristian Pierce, Joe Griffith, Moses Barnett and Will Ashley.
