A GYMNASTICS club in Denbighshire has been keeping spirits high throughout lockdown.
Dedicated young leaders, aged between 11 and 16, at the Ruthin and Denbigh Gymnastics Club, have have planned and delivered online lessons to fellow gymnasts on zoom since March.
As well as this, they have been working hard to update their leadership skills as part of the Welsh Gymnastics leadership modules and the ‘I Can, I Am’ programme delivered by British Gymnastics.
These online training events will help the gymnasts and leaders to be ready to lead and participate when the gym reopens.
The committee and head coach, helped by a fantastic team of volunteers, are currently working hard to make sure the gym is ready to re-open in a safe and socially distanced environment in the next few weeks.
