CAER CLWYD FC enjoyed another fine 'pre-season' win by beating Denbigh Development 3-1 on Saturday.

it was a mixed two days the weekend before, which saw one Caer Clwyd side win against Llangollen Reserves and another lose to a very strong Llandyrnog side on Sunday.

But this time around, the Denbigh-based side formed over the summer bounced back again with victory against the Development.

Elsewhere, Llansannan put in a brave fight against tier-two side Conwy Borough, only to lose out 3-1 in the end.

Adam Pritchard opened the scoring on 40 minutes when he turned in a Conor Davies delivery, and the duo of Aidan Clark and Guto Hughes also hit the target after the break. Robin Jones found the net in the second period for the visitors who were impressive.
