WHAT a brilliant weekend it turned out to be for Llanuwchllyn.
It was a top-of-the-table encounter as Llan headed to Porthmadog in the Ardal North West League and it was the visitors who came out on top 2-1.
Dan Dascalu and Joe Williams netted first half goals for Llanuwchllyn, either side of James Morgan's reply.
It was a tough ask for St Asaph City as they went to title-chasing Mold Alex, with the hosts winning 4-0.
