SPOT-ON St Asaph City brilliantly made it through to the next round of the Ardal Northern Cup.
The Saints defeated hosts Llandudno Albion on penalties after the tie ended up 1-1.
Both of the goals arrived in the first half, with Jason Foulkes handing St Asaph the lead after 21 minutes.
Back came Albion, and Luke Smith levelled the tie nine minutes prior to the interval.
No further goals would arrive and the Saints triumphed 3-0 in the shootout.
Andy Booker, Foulkes and Dan Williams scored penalties for the Saints.
In the North East Wales League, Tom Bridges (2), Josh Rimmer, Aaron North and Josh Edwards were Hawarden Rangers’ scorers in a 5-1 Premier Division thrashing of Llangollen Town, who hit back through Jack Maybury.
