IT turned out to be a super Sunday for a member of the Denbigh Harriers.

Sian Pritchard ran a personal best at the Tadworth 10-mile race last Sunday.

Starting and finishing at Epsom Racecourse, in Surrey, this is a scenic and challenging 10-mile event.

The two-lap course takes competitors on a mixture of road and grass.

Sian had a great run as she managed to finish in 273rd position in a time of one hour, 31 minutes and 30 seconds.

Twenty four hours earlier and she took part in the Kingston Parkrun, crossing the line 132nd in 27.14.

Over in Chester, fellow Harrier achieved a time of 23.58 for 50th position.

Harrier Julie Roberts opted to compete in Selby and she was 54th in 27.55.

A trio of Harriers donned their vests in Prestatyn, spear-headed by Emma Collins, who was a fine fifth with her effort of 22.19.

She was followed by Chris Baldwin, 16th in 26.10, while John Llewelyn Thomas was 48th in 46.33.
